If you are traveling to Boston or Philadelphia, this book offers great background information.  It is a nonfiction book telling about the life of Jane Franklin, Benjamin Franklin's youngest sister. It is filled with primary sources, mainly letters written by Benjamin Franklin to Jane.  Her original letters have not been saved.  Looking at Benjamin Franklin's life through Jane's eyes is interesting and let's the reader see a different side of him and to learn about Jane Franklin's life during this exciting, yet tumultuous, time in the history of the United States.
